This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we process when you visit our website and use its features, for what purposes and on which legal bases, and which service providers are involved.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as those in our Terms and Conditions, available through the Appforce Pro APP, unless otherwise defined here.

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is DMN Technology GmbH. You can find the full address and further company details in our legal notice (Impressum). You can contact us by e-mail at [email protected].

Information Collection and Use

When you use our website, we process personal data only to the extent described below: technical connection data when you access the website (see "Log Data"), the data you provide via the contact form or by e-mail, your e-mail address if you subscribe to our newsletter and, only with your consent, usage data via Google Analytics (see "Google Analytics").

Contact form: When you send us a message via the contact form, we process your name, e-mail address, subject and message and, if provided, your telephone number. Your message is forwarded to us by e-mail via our e-mail provider; it is not stored in a database on our website. We use this data solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or to pre-contractual measures, and otherwise your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Information on how e-mails are stored can be found under "E-mail Contact".

Newsletter: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your e-mail address together with the time of subscription in our content management system (Sanity) in order to send you the newsletter. We also receive a notification e-mail about the new subscription. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Your entry will then be deleted from the subscriber list.

YouTube videos: Our website embeds videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). A video is only loaded from YouTube's servers when you click on it; until then, only a preview image delivered by our own server is shown, together with a notice that clicking will load the video from YouTube. Once you start the video, Google receives data such as your IP address and may store information on your device. By clicking on the video, you give your consent; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG.

Log Data

Each time you access our website, your browser automatically transmits technical data, which is processed by our hosting provider and our content delivery network (CDN): IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the referring website (referrer), and information about your browser and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is deleted after 14 days.

Cookies

We distinguish between storage in your browser that is strictly necessary and analytics cookies that require your consent.

Strictly necessary: our website stores your cookie choice ("cookie-consent") and your acceptance of the legal notice ("legalNoticeAccepted") in your browser's local storage, as well as a technical marker for the page loading animation ("app-loaded") in session storage, which is deleted when you close the browser tab. These entries contain no identifiers relating to you, are not transmitted to us and are necessary to provide the functions you have requested; your consent is therefore not required (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Analytics cookies: Google Analytics only sets cookies on your device if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set and no Google Analytics scripts are loaded. Details can be found in the "Google Analytics" section.

Google Analytics

With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").

We use Google Analytics to analyse and improve the use of our website. For this purpose, pseudonymised usage data is processed, such as the pages visited, the duration of the visit, the type of device and browser used, and your approximate location.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Google Analytics is only loaded after you have given your consent via our cookie banner.

Google Analytics sets the cookies "_ga" and "_ga_RMKGD0E02C", which are used to distinguish between users. These cookies are stored for a maximum of 2 years.

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store the IP addresses of users in the EU.

Data in Google Analytics is automatically deleted after 14 months.

Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, delete the cookies and site data for this website in your browser; the cookie banner will then be displayed again and you can decline. You can also prevent data collection by Google Analytics by installing the browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

For more information, please see Google's Privacy Policy.
